Ms DesLauriers' Language Arts & Social Studies Class

My name is Brittany DesLauriers, and I am excited to teach Language Arts this year on the Guardians Team!

I graduated from North Carolina State University where I earned a B.S. in Middle Grades Education with a concentration in English Language Arts and Social Studies Education. Upon graduating, I taught English I and World History for three years at Cuthbertson High School in Union County. Last year, I relocated to Wake County and accepted a position at Centennial Campus Magnet Middle School teaching 8th Grade Language Arts and Social Studies.

Aside from teaching, I am currently enrolled in the M.Ed. in Higher Education program at the University of North Carolina Wilmington and will be completing an internship in Fall 2016 as an Academic Coach in Exploratory Studies at North Carolina State University.
